This word may not strike as much fear into you in your daily life, especially if you live in a small town or outside of a major city; however, when travelling, it is important to recognize that there can be upwards of 400,000 pickpocket incidents in a day. Add this to new and improving Identity Stealing Technology, street criminals are now as unstoppable as ever. There is hope, and we are here to help provide some insight to the issue so you are less of a target of pickpockets!

College is freedom. Freedom from house rules, freedom to purchase all the candy and junk food desired, freedom to choose classes and study what you are passionate for, freedom to be you. With this freedom presented to a wide range of people, most specifically 18 year old's fresh out of high school, there can be a large danger that is additionally not often presented.

In the day-to-day, you may not even consider knowing how to perform CPR or how to use a splint or sling. You may not see your lifestyle as dangerous or you may even be reliant on others around you to be the hero in an emergency situation; however, 70% of Americans don’t know how and are reluctant to perform CPR and only half of all cases in which First Aid could have been used, was it done so. For your family, friends, and community’s sake, it is important to know at least the basics of First Aid in the event of an emergency! While these are all tips for adult First Aid, we certainly recommend getting certified in baby, toddler, and child First Aid as well if you have kids, grandkids, or are around kids.
